An orthotic is a shoe insert that has been custom casted to your foot to help your feet perform as efficiently as possible. 

Orthotics more correctly position the bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments of the feet to help correct abnormal mechanics of the foot and ankle that can lead to injuries or problems.

Wearing orthotics will eventually help to decrease or eliminate foot problems, as well as knee, hip and lower back problems that are the result of improper foot function and faulty foot mechanics.
